The MiWatcher III surveillance system is designed for applications where more than one camera is needed. It can be used with almost any CCTV or B&W camera and can accomodate up to 6 cameras. It has a built-in 33.6k modem for sending high quality images over a telephone line to a remote PC.

Some of the main features of the MiWatcher III are:

Simply install the MiWatcher III unit in the desired location, plug it in to a telephone line, hook up the external cameras, connect the 6VDC adapter, install the software on the remote PC and start viewing pictures. The software runs on Win 95/98, NT and can be password protected.

An access door on top of the unit allows onsite program changes. Alternatively, all changes can be made from the remote PC.

The unit has six inputs (one for each camera) which can be automatically activated during an alarm. Five digital color images from each camera with full date and time stamp can be sent to the offsite PC and also saved in the MiWatcher III.

A dedicated phone line is not necessary unless covert observation of the site is required or there is a need for the phone line to be kept free at all times for other purposes.

The image resolutions available are JPEG 640x480 VGA, 320x240 and 160x120 and the image update (refresh) rate is 2 to 10 seconds per frame. Images from the six cameras can be viewed individually on the monitor or they can all be seen together on the same screen. An RS232 port allows it to be used as a still camera.

The 2MB Flash Memory can store up to 120 high resolution JPEG images depending on the resolution setting.
