In OBD II vehicles, when the first emissions related powertrain DTC occurs, the PCM will snapshot (save) a block of the current engine parameters. This list of parameters is called Freeze Frame Data and is displayed in this screen. When DTCs are cleared, the Freeze Frame data is cleared from the vehicle, but not from our Scan Tool. This information is saved until you connect to another vehicle or exit the software. This allows you to clear the vehicle's DTCs and save the Freeze Frame data.
