The
new 2020 Freeplay flashlight can provide light
either by winding the flip-out handle to charge a spring
or by utilizing the internal Nickel Metal Hydride battery.
WINDUP
MODE
Energy
stored in the spring is released to generate electricity
to power a cluster of exceptionally long lasting, white
solid state light emitting diodes. A full wind (60 turns)
will provide illumination for over 10 minutes.
BATTERY
MODE
When
fully charged, the high capacity rechargeable NiMH battery
can power the Xenon-filled bulb for about 45 minutes.
One spare bulb is provided. The replaceable battery
is charged by an AC/DC adapter plugged into the socket
at the rear of the flashlight.
